Shenanigans
It seems our scheming knows no bounds here in the apartment. As pathetic as it sounds it seems that Mike, Joe, and myself are having withdrawl symptoms associated with the move of Jeremy's Xbox and Gamecube from our living room to his room. In fact our poker games are usually really aggressive and competative. Today though was one of the most passive-aggressive (and shortest) poker games we've ever played (Joe won...in case anyone was wondering). Anyway enter yet another free "insert item name here" link.

Now I'm not going to even try to convince you guys (the amazing 1 or 2 people that read this) to click the link and help me out. In point of fact I'm very certain that alot of you are incredibly skeptical about this even working. Be that as it may though, if you do want to give me a hand and help me earn a free Xbox 360 then click the link and follow the instructions for yourself.
There hasn't really been alot of new stuff happening in the news lately it seems to be the same old stuff. However, today I did find one thing that stood out pretty far above the usual talk about how Iraq has made us less safe, and the notion that Pakistan is aiding terrorists:

Yes, that is a picture of a man boxing a kangaroo. Its actually a shot of one of the over 300 events that are hosted at the annual (no that is not a typo....it is annual) Animal Olympics in Shanghai. Now I'll be the first to say that this kind of spectacle is just wrong. However, I think that this particular clown is being punished enough for his actions. I mean look at that awesome right cross that the 'roo throws in the second panel. And it hasn't even resorted to using its legs yet.

Ow! Maybe I spoke too soon....

The judges have scored the fight and by unanimous decision the win goes to the "Wonder from Down Under"!!!!
There are other events including a primate weight lifting contest, an elephant that carries the olympic torch, and bicycle and foot races. Those damn crazy Chinese people. I wonder how human rights are going to go out the window when the 2008 "Human" Olympic Games roll around. My heart is beating with anticipation...
